Sans Souci Samui

The room was clean and enjoyable, and I loved the beautiful view. This place has the potential to be a hidden gem. Communication with staff was the one real downside. The breakfast staff didn’t speak English and couldn’t understand even simple requests, which made things difficult. At times the atmosphere felt like I was in someone’s home without really being invited.

I spent three nights in the Deluxe Beachfront room. The beach view was breathtaking and easily the best part, but the rest of the stay disappointed me. The room felt more creepy than cozy, and the mattress and pillows were horrible. I ended up with severe back pain. Beautiful view, but the discomfort wasn’t worth it.

The bed was really comfortable, and breakfast was a 10/10. I loved how cosy the hotel felt while still being luxurious, and the private beach is only about a 20-second walk from the room. The staff seemed a little awkward, but they were sweet. And the dog who comes with the hotel was an absolute delight!

The price was much lower than other places on the beach, and the location is perfect. The staff were so kind and helpful. The beds are very old and need replacing, though, so I’d strongly suggest trying a room for one night before booking a longer stay.
