Sareeraya Villas & Suites

The staff were wonderful, especially the women at check-in, who were kind, helpful, and welcoming. My complaint is about the suite description and the price. These rooms are described as 70 m², but ours was on the main road, something we hadn’t realized when booking. At that price, we wouldn’t have chosen it if we’d known. The room also seemed much smaller than advertised. After I raised it, the hotel sent two engineers to measure it. They got 49 m², the same as my quick measurement. I was told all rooms sold as 70 m² are actually this size, so expect about 50 m². I asked for the price to be adjusted to reflect the actual area and was offered a bottle of wine instead. It was a nice gesture, but didn’t make up for paying for a larger room. If you’re expecting a true 70 m² suite, that isn’t what you’ll get, and the rooms along the road don’t offer the quiet you might expect at this price. Great staff, but management should correct the misleading description and pricing.

The staff were very friendly, and we enjoyed the good breakfast. We stayed in a swim-up room, but it was along a busy road and quite noisy, which was disappointing. The hotel sits on a beautiful, almost paradisiacal stretch of beach, a little outside the city center. Overall, a very nice hotel.

This was our second visit to Sareeraya, and we chose a pool villa this time. It was amazing, and the plunge pool was just right when we wanted some quiet away from the main pool. Every member of staff was fabulous and happy to chat with us. The service was 10 out of 10. We had such a good time that we booked another stay for next September with our travel agent as soon as we got home. Thanks to everyone.

Right on the beach, with soft sand and no stones at all. It’s the best beach in Koh Samui. We loved this small boutique hotel, which felt perfect for couples. Our room was spacious and clean, and the restaurant and pool bar staff took wonderful care of us.
