The restaurant was very crowded, so there weren't enough staff to serve everyone. It took a long time to get someone available for another order. The live band started out well, but kept going the same way until it felt boring. The atmosphere was good and the food was good, though. I especially liked the all-you-can-eat ribs for 450 baht. The sangria was a huge glass for only 220 baht.

The beachside atmosphere was magical, and there's a resort here with nice rooms. We came for dinner and enjoyed the live entertainment and dancing. The all-you-can-eat ribs were delicious and great value, and the wagyu burger was tasty too.

It's a handy distance from Fisherman's village and the airport, but I wouldn't return. I only had hot water on one out of four days, and there were power outages when it rained, though that wasn't the resort's fault. Traffic was noisy, and on live band nights the music was REALLY loud until at least 2300. It shook the glass in my door, so there was no chance of sleeping before the party ended.

I only needed a place for one night near the ferry, and this turned out to suit me well. I hadn't looked into it in much detail before booking, so I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely and comfortable the room was.

The room had a great view, and we enjoyed having restaurants near the hotel. I stayed for about a week and didn't feel too remote. After a few days, though, the traffic and airplane noise became really annoying. I wouldn't recommend the area if you're after peace and quiet.
