We were very happy with the two-bedroom beachfront villa with a pool in the end. It had a large open space and a fantastic view, and the separate his and her bedrooms were handy, especially for putting the snorer in one. The resort team went out of their way to make things right after explaining that a change to the reservation system meant our original beachfront villa with pool was no longer available. They offered this two-bedroom option, which was oddly cheaper, perhaps because it was open rather than gated and right beside the restaurant. They also credited us the price difference, gave us free massages and arranged an airport transfer. That's how you make a client happy. We spent five nights at The Passage. It's a beautiful resort area, and the staff were super friendly. The restaurant served such good food that we ate there every night while watching the magnificent sunsets. The beach was nice for walking, with shallow water for a long way. The shoreline is pebbly at first, then gives way to soft sand. I'd happily recommend staying here.

The beach and sea were beautiful, turquoise and clear on calm days. Even with a bit of wind and stirred-up water, the color stayed turquoise and the beach still looked lovely. The resort is a little secluded, which made it quiet, just what we wanted. We had a villa with direct pool access, and I recommend it. The rooms are individual villas or bungalows, and the grounds are full of palm trees and carefully arranged flowering plants. Breakfast was fantastic, with lots of choices, a fresh egg station and several plant-based milk options. The restaurant is right beside the sea. Staff were consistently cheerful and very friendly. I've seldom been so impressed with a hotel, and I'm truly thinking of coming back. Everything was great from start to finish.

The hotel had lovely views of Koh Samui and a peaceful atmosphere, and the staff's warm smiles and genuine hospitality made us feel welcome each day. We're especially grateful for the kindness and professional care the team showed when one of our group unexpectedly needed to go to the hospital. Their support and concern meant a lot to us. We'll remember this place with appreciation and hope to return one day.

We were right by the ocean, with access to a very neat, clean beach, and the facilities were better than we expected. The gym was clean and well kept, and we used it almost every day. Room service was excellent too. The staff were amazing, friendly and attentive throughout our little over a week at Tu Blue Passage Hotel. Yaya and Toey were so kind, taking care of our baby while we had breakfast, which made our mornings much more relaxing. The location is unbeatable. We couldn't have asked for a better stay, and we'd happily recommend the hotel to visitors. We'll definitely be back.

The island has changed a lot since we were here 20 years ago. Resorts and SPAs have taken over from the pretty wooden bungalows of that time, and wild nature has been brought into complexes. We were disappointed by how built-up Koh Samui has become, and getting around still requires transport. Given the traffic, renting a two-wheeler seems ideal. Even so, we're glad we stayed at TUI Blue The Passage Samui. We spent 13 nights here over Christmas and New Year. The resort is idyllic, right on a beach with very fine sand and an imperial sunset. The welcome and the way daily life was organized were much appreciated. Ploy is a great dancer, but above all gives wonderful service with a smile and real helpfulness. M's smile alone makes you want to return, and his bartending skills take you on a journey. Bella's laughter and friendly nature help make for a smooth, enjoyable stay. The hotel would be missing something without its butler, who looks after your daily wellbeing and stays smiling even when the weather brings surprises. Service is professional and high quality. The bungalows are comfortable enough and look just like their online photos. They're cleaned every day, and guests are given everything they need, including bath towels. The garden-view villas could use lounge chairs, though they have a small table and two chairs that do the job. These villas offer privacy compared with the pool villas. We recommend the hotel for its staff and services. Stéphane et Gaby
