It felt like home here, with dogs, cats and chickens all around, like living in a village. You'll really need your own transport, though the location is convenient for quick rides to the best beaches. One tip: if you book a room on the second-to-last floor overlooking the pool, that side gets no sun during the day. We didn't need the AC at all. Our only real drawback was the room. We booked a small one, but it was even smaller than expected, and the photos don't make that clear. There was nowhere to sit except on the balcony. In the end it worked out, since a small place is quick to clean.

The owner and manager Greg is friendly and outgoing. He usually meets you on arrival, offers to show you around on his scooter, and runs the place to please his guests. He was completely honest with me, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to my family. It's a family-run hotel a short walk from Tesco Lotus mall, with a supermarket, department store, pharmacy, food halls, restaurants, DIY and appliance stores, and more. It's set a bit away from the beaches and strip, but transport isn't a big problem, with taxis, red minibuses and scooters for rent. Our room was modern and very clean, with a small refrigerator and instant coffee and tea. It cost much less than a mainstream hotel. There's also a pool in the backyard.

They'll make you leave with four days' notice during high season to make room for an Airbnb. Get a contract here. The rooms are nice, though. Edit/Response: It was clear I wasn't planning to move out. The health crisis, as you call it, has ended. Have you raised the rent? No, why would you. You came to me and said you had Airbnb bookings you hadn't seen. Sorry I couldn't mop the floors when I left. I was busy driving around looking for a place during high season, with that short notice. I'm simply advising people to get a contract with you, since I made the mistake of not doing that and trusted this kind of situation wouldn't happen. Best wishes.
