View Talay Samui

One of the best view talay villas on Koh Samui, Thailand.

We rented the villa for nearly all of January 2023 and loved watching the sunrise each morning. In the evenings, our large group spent time together in the shared area and by the pool. There’s everything needed for a longer stay, from pots for cooking to life jackets for children, plus a barbecue area behind the house. Ivan and Toto, the owners, live next door and are cheerful, responsive, and easy to talk to. When we accidentally left our credit cards behind, they helped by mailing them to us that same day. The photos make the villa look new, but it has clearly been lived in and is worn in some places. That didn’t get in the way of enjoying our holiday. One thing to keep in mind: the house is on a mountain and has three levels with very high steps, so daily climbing could be a problem if you’re wary of physical activity.

The terrace and pool look out over the sea and coconut palms, and the villa has everything you need. It’s peaceful and feels like a real haven. Yvon and Toto were lovely hosts, welcoming and available, and gave us great tips for seeing the beautiful island of Koh Samui. Thanks to you both, our honeymoon is off to a wonderful start.

Everything was incredibly clean, and pool towels were provided. The infinity pool was spotless, with a sea view, and the rooms were spacious with excellent bedding. We were welcomed with remarkable kindness by the owner, who stayed attentive and available whenever we needed anything. It’s a heavenly spot, and we recommend the house. We’ll definitely be back.
