We stayed here as a couple with our child, and it was one of our most disappointing stays. The host, Jay, was unprofessional and unwelcoming, and at times rude. She repeatedly argued with us instead of helping, leaving us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome throughout the visit. That was especially hard as a family traveling with a child. Cleanliness was also very poor. We asked several times for the room to be cleaned and were told it would be, but it never was. The bathroom smelled strongly of sewage, and the shower water had a heavy chlorine odor, making it unpleasant to use. The poor service and lack of cleaning made the stay frustrating. The place has potential, but it clearly isn’t being managed properly. We wouldn’t return or recommend this hotel.

The view was nice, but that was the only good part of our stay. The toilets overflowed, and at 7am people were yelling as they came to fix them without telling us in advance. The kitchen barely had basic cups or plates, and there were no towels, so we had to buy both. Yossi and Jay treated my family terribly. They made it clear we weren’t welcome, even though we’d paid in advance, brought in our own cleaning service, and bought extra amenities and missing items. They also didn’t send a cleaning service despite saying they would. Their dog came into our place and wandered around, scaring our baby. Jay is a disgusting person. The treatment was awful, and I have no words for it. The worst experience of my life.

There are plenty of shops nearby and a gym, and despite having a room next to the street, we slept peacefully because it was quiet at night. The room and the whole facility were very clean. Staff were polite, friendly, and ready to help with our questions. I’ll definitely visit again.

We only booked two nights, and my wife and I regret not staying longer. The hotel has a personal touch, direct access to a beautiful sandy beach, and free kayaking. The staff were very helpful.

Villa La Baron had excellent service, and the hotel was superb overall. It’s right by the beach, with good restaurants and cafes nearby.
