Villa Melo

Moritz was a fantastic host, and the villa was impeccable, with a lovely pool and a great location. We had a great stay and will definitely be back.

The peaceful setting in the Chaweng hills gave us privacy and lush palm tree surroundings, while the heart of Chaweng was still a short drive away. We needed a taxi outside the shuttle hours, but that distance also added to the quiet. We were a group of 10 and rented both villas for eight days. They were spacious, beautifully decorated, fully equipped, and had unbeatable views. Moritz and Pleng were responsive and helpful from the start, and went above and beyond to organize a special birthday celebration, with in-villa massages and a private chef experience. The villa staff were just as lovely. Pa Tan, our cleaner, and P-Dum, our shuttle driver, were kind, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. I can't fault a thing. We left with full hearts and lifelong memories. Highly recommend!

Moritz's restaurant, activity, and beach recommendations were spot on, and we enjoyed all the food, beaches, and things to do he suggested. Breakfast at the villa was absolutely delicious. The view blew us away when we arrived, and the welcome coconuts were so sweet and refreshing after the heat. Villa Melo has everything you need for a stay in Koh Samui, with every little detail thought through. We can't wait to come back.

The host takes the job seriously and is there whenever you need him, which adds a lot of comfort. The villa feels like its own little world, with a gorgeous 180-degree ocean view from its perch on a hill. There are also some nice food options nearby where you can order authentic Thai food right to your villa. It's a bit away from the touristy areas, but with a scooter you can get around while enjoying the scenery. Each outing feels like a small adventure, then you return to a cozy, quiet mountain hideaway. You could happily stay put since the villa itself is the main attraction, or go explore and come back to your own little paradise. A lovely mix of adventure and peace. It's much more than just a place to crash.
