Villa Murano with Panoramic Sea Views

We had 14 people, from adults down to a six-year-old, and the facilities suited us perfectly. The pools were clean and great for family time, and the large games room and movie room gave us more ways to enjoy ourselves. The staff, led by their very accommodating supervisor, Winnie, were the best I've experienced. Breakfasts were awesome, and the two meals the staff cooked for us were delicious. It was a wonderful week, expensive but absolutely worth it. The villa is a fair way from Fisherman’s Market and about 40 minutes from the airport, but the views and privacy made the location even more appealing. My family will treasure the memories.

Winnie and her team were the best part of our stay. They were attentive and professional, while still giving us privacy. The villa itself has lovely views and attractive design, but to me the interiors felt stylish more than truly luxurious, especially beside five-star resorts. There’s also an active construction site visible from every floor. We chose Villa Murano for its two large private pools and jacuzzi, but none had temperature control. We were told that’s common for Ko Samui villas. At this price, and for a relatively new property on a windy, exposed hillside, it was a real disappointment. The solutions we suggested weren’t workable, so we didn’t use the pools at all. Getting there was difficult too. The access road is extremely steep, and several taxi drivers wouldn’t drive up or later refused to collect us. Even a five-star resort couldn’t arrange a transfer because its van couldn’t reach the property. The elevated setting gives you good views, but you have to walk up a very steep driveway to the entrance. My family and I booked it for the last leg of our trip after staying at a luxurious resort, and that comparison made the shortcomings stand out. For a small group like ours, the cost is similar to luxury resorts in Ko Samui that offer much better facilities, rooms, and amenities. Larger groups may find it easier to split the price. The team was excellent, but I wouldn’t recommend Villa Murano for smaller groups, as I think there are better value options in Ko Samui.

The staff made this family holiday especially memorable. They arranged what we needed, from laundry to in-villa treatments, and surprised us with a birthday cake. They were warm, professional, friendly, and attentive, and it was a pleasure having them around. The villa itself is beautiful, with great facilities for adults and children alike. It was a lovely setting for a special family stay, and from the moment we arrived, the staff worked hard to make us comfortable. One of our best holidays, and we’re grateful for their kindness. A lovely place for families to celebrate, relax, and make memories.

Villa Murano on Ko Samui was beautiful, well cared for, and had breathtaking views. Everything exceeded our expectations and made the stay memorable. I’d highly recommend it for a getaway.
