The room is fine if all you need is a bed. The beachside setting looks great, but sewage flows into the sea and you can see it. Google Maps shows where it comes out.

We paid online through booking.com last year, but when we arrived they said we hadn’t paid and demanded the full amount again for us to stay. booking.com wouldn’t refund us. The woman and her mother were very rude, there was no key or lock for our room, and we found bed bugs. This was the worst place of our month travelling around Thailand. It felt like a scam. Do not stay here.

The location is fantastic, right by the beach with nothing in front except coconut palms and a hammock. The woman running the place was really sweet, too. The room and toilet were old and rusty, and honestly not great, but that’s what you get for 300 THB.

We booked and paid in advance, then arrived to find there were no rooms left. The money wasn’t returned either. A simple scam, and the only bad experience of my whole trip in Thailand.
