Yupa Villa 1

The location worked well for our family, and the villa was more affordable than others during the festive season. We had no trouble getting taxis from the main road, and tour companies picked us up right at Yupa Villa 1. We also walked 15 minutes to Big C and 40 minutes to the Fishermans Village Friday night markets, which is a must if you visit Koh Samui. With kids, we loved the Fun House, a 10-minute walk around the corner. It combines a café with a play area where children are supervised, and the area was clean and kept them entertained while adults had a reasonably priced meal. We were three couples and four children, aged from one to 12, staying over Christmas and New Year. The villa gave us all our own rooms, each with excellent facilities and aircon, which was great in the humidity. The shared kitchen and living space was fantastic and had what a family needs, though its aircon didn’t work and we relied on the fans. Our concierge Ryan was welcoming, friendly, easy to reach, and kept in touch. The one facilities issue was the extremely slippery tiles around the pool, which were a hazard for us. We laid towels down and that solved it. We couldn’t have been happier with the stay, and it was well worth the money.
