We had a smooth transfer from the pier, and on arrival we were upgraded to a hotel room right by the beach. The location is great for beach views and getting straight onto the beach from the bar. Our room was clean and organized, and the AC was awesome. The shower setup and hanging pole for drying clothes were pretty bare-bones, but they suited the bungalow feel. Bar staff were welcoming, and the food and drinks were delicious. Front desk staff were helpful with our questions. There was construction on the first day, then no more noise or problems. A great honeymoon spot, though I'd call ahead to check the construction status.

We checked out immediately and demanded a full refund after finding the room filthy despite having a confirmed booking and checking in. The towels were yellow and clearly unhygienic. At 3,000 THB a night, that was beyond unacceptable. The male receptionist was shockingly rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. Instead of apologizing or trying to fix anything, they told us to check out if we weren't satisfied. There was no effort to help and no responsibility taken. The place showed no standards, service, or respect for guests. A complete waste of our time, money, and energy. Stay far away.

The mosquitoes were overwhelming, more than anywhere else we've been in Koh Tao. I hope the resort finds a way to deal with them, and take care of your skin. Otherwise, the decor was nice, the location was good, and they have their own beach. The pool was great, with a lovely little bar, and both the staff and manager were nice. The price was good too.

You're right on the beach, and Freedom Beach is also within walking distance, with amazing snorkeling there. The rooms are nice and the shower is good. There are lots of mosquitoes, so we brought our own net, otherwise they might be annoying.

The place itself is beautiful, but the stay wasn't a very nice human experience. We returned the key at checkout, yet because we didn't have the little paper receipt shaped like a festival wristband, they tried to keep our deposit and were quite dismissive. We also had no hot water for almost two days. We mentioned it straight away, but nobody fixed it.
