Tony was really friendly and welcoming, and communication was prompt. They also kindly gave us a quick refund. But we booked five nights and left after five hours, thoroughly disappointed. Our first concern was the front door: when locked, it left a wide gap that let in a constant stream of mosquitoes and other bugs. The room didn't look cleaned, it was very dusty, and there were dead bugs in the microwave. We considered staying the first night and finding another hotel the next day, but when we took off the duvet, we found what looked like evidence of bed bugs on the bedsheet. Maybe we were unlucky with that room, but based on our experience we definitely wouldn't recommend this 'hotel'. Even if it had been clean, I don't think it was worth the price. There are nicer hotels on koh tao for the same or less.

The room and pool were very clean and well equipped. The studio had a toaster, kettle, and microwave, while the two-bedroom apartment had a fully equipped kitchen. Snorkelling gear and life jackets were also available by the pool. The staff were welcoming and very nice. The location is higher up than most accommodation, so you get a beautiful view and a peaceful atmosphere away from the centre's noise, while still being close to what you need. We had such a fantastic stay that we came back. Definitely the best place we've stayed in koh Tao. A motorbike rental is crucial unless you enjoy a lot of climbing.

The house was quite nice, with a beautiful view, and they take good care of the place. It’s a little older, but perfectly adequate since most of the time is spent by the water, or under it 🤙. My only personal gripe is that the mattresses felt too soft. Everyone’s different, though. We had a lovely holiday in paradise.

Tony and his wife were warm, accommodating hosts, and they made it easy for us to extend our stay on the spur of the moment. The studio is close to the main attractions, though having a scooter is important for getting around easily. We found it comfortable and well placed, and I’d happily recommend it for the hospitality as well as the location.
