Green House Hotel

For a budget stay in central Krabi, this was decent. The room was clean for the price, and the staff were polite and friendly. Restaurants, markets, and supermarkets are all nearby, and you can rent a motorbike from the hotel to explore. There were some unpleasant smells, both from the bathroom drains in the room and in the elevator. The windows also let in traffic noise, so light sleepers might find that bothersome. It worked for me as a clean, safe place to come back to after spending the day out.

There’s a massage shop right beside the hotel, and a steamboat buffet restaurant next to the lobby. The room was clean, and it took around 15-20 minutes to walk to the town center, night market, breakfast shops, and riverside. I booked through Agoda after seeing photos showing beds for four, but they only let three people check in without an extra charge. We paid 250 baht per night for the fourth person, which didn’t seem very reasonable. Still, the room itself was very cheap.

For a short stay in Krabi town, this place had everything we needed and was great value. It’s close to shops, restaurants, and markets, and the included breakfast was very nice. Reception were helpful, happy to arrange trips or transfers, and you can rent scooters at the hotel too. The room was spacious, cleaned every day, and came with a comfortable bed, fridge, air conditioning, a bath and shower, and a wardrobe with a safe. They left complimentary water, but there wasn’t tea or coffee, so bring your own. Booking and check-in went smoothly, and it was easy to communicate with the staff. Highly recommended.

I slept better here than I had in weeks. The bed was so good, and the room was clean and nice, with a fridge and air conditioning that kept a comfortable temperature. The night market, restaurants, and 7/11 are only a few minutes away. A really good budget choice for the money.
