Klong Muang Sunset House

We only stayed one night, even though we'd booked a week. The owner refunded us without much argument, which I appreciated. The reception woman was fairly helpful too, though the place itself didn't feel friendly. The common areas were shabby and cluttered, with old chairs, boxes and other things at reception and in the corridor, plus dirty sheets piled on the stairs. My friend and I had asked for separate rooms. Mine faced a busy road and was too noisy, so the owner offered me another one. It was dark and worn down. The AC worked, but the fan didn't. They brought a standing fan, but one socket was dead, so I unplugged the fridge extension and had no fridge. The bedside lamp plug wouldn't stay in, and the extension cable looked worn and unsafe. I wouldn't call this a hostel, let alone a hotel. We're two middle-aged women, and most of the other guests seemed to be in their twenties. If you're after reasonably priced accommodation in a good location, it might suit you, but stay at your own peril.
