Piman Pu Villa

We spent two lovely nights at Piman Pu for my girlfriend’s birthday. The staff went out of their way to make it feel special, and the grounds were so peaceful. Ganesh, the attached restaurant, served fantastic food, so we hardly left during our stay. It felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves.

The beach is beautiful and quiet, and the villa is lovely, though it could use some maintenance. It has air conditioning, hot and cold water, and a really nice design. We stayed four nights with our kids, aged four and two, and they had a great time. The staff were happy to prepare special meals for them, and they loved the pool too. The restaurant is small, but the food is excellent, fresh, and homemade. The staff were very friendly. And the monkeys! Don’t leave anything outside when you go out, and shut the windows and doors. Otherwise, the monkeys may take over the house, and I’m not sure they’ll clean up afterward. A quiet, beautiful little paradise.

Ganesh’s bar served fresh, delicious dishes and drinks with lots of variety. They listened to our family’s extra requests, sensitivities, and food intolerances, and even gave us a little cooking class. The housekeeping was spot on, everything was tidy, and they picked up and returned our laundry right at the doorstep. The crew were so warm, and we had a lovely, relaxing time at the “piman pu art house.” They helped arrange jungle hikes, island hopping by boat, and transport back to the airport. All that made our time on koh jum/ koh pu the best travel experience of our whole Thailand trip. We’re sorry we couldn’t stay longer and promise we’ll come back one day. A note about 'Berta': she’s a reddish-brown street dog with broken legs who lives on the private beach. She doesn’t bark and is just like a kind, shy pet dog. If you visit, please give her some food. A really luxurious, relaxing two-night stay in the piman pu one-bedroom villa. The ceilings were lovely and high, the bed was massive, and we had access to a nice seawater pool. Lots of extra amenities too.
