The Guest Hotel

We were only about a 15-minute drive from the airport, and the welcome at reception made a good first impression. They even offered to move us to a better room for a very reasonable extra charge. I had a really good stay and would come back, and recommend the place to others.

The common areas are roomy, and this is the only hostel like that in Krabi town. The place also feels new and was pretty clean. The Koh Lanta transfer was a different story. We were told we'd leave Krabi at 10, but pickup from the hostel didn't happen until 10:30, and we didn't get away from the office until 11:30. It was the hottest part of the day, exactly what I wanted to avoid. That middleman agency was painfully slow. 😑😑😑 If being on time matters, head to the Krabi Bus Station for Koh Lanta. They leave on schedule and charge 300 baht.

I spent six days in a dorm and got to know some sociable people there. The staff were helpful, and the location is right in the center. A great place, and I'd happily stay again next time I'm passing through Krabi Town.

The price was good, and the staff were really nice. It's in a good location too.
