Ban Sulada Guest House

The best part of the guesthouse might be the deck over the water, looking out toward Koh Chang. The food was good too, and there’s a little bar on site. Our room was clean and had air-conditioning. It’s in a quiet Thai town where people are just going about their day, so it doesn’t feel very touristy. We walked through town in the morning and visited Black Sand Beach. It’s a great quick trip before the crowds arrive. The hosts were so kind and generous. My girlfriend and I stayed one night before heading to Koh Mak, and they sorted out a car from Bangkok airport and our ferry. They even called along the way to check that everything was okay. We really felt looked after. Thank you!

The owners were lovely, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. My room was basic, but had what I needed, including air con. It’s right by the pier, so it worked perfectly for a night before travelling on the next day. Could be good for a longer stay too, though I can’t say for sure. Thanks so much.

They picked us up at Trat airport and took care of arranging the ferry to Koh Mak. The owner and his wife are two of the most hospitable people I’ve met. Our room was clean, with great AC and a firm Thai mattress. I love this place and will definitely be back!

Check-in was quick and comfortable, and the place had a real homey feel. The studio was spacious and super clean, with a king-size bed that fits anyone taller than 6”2, an LCD TV, new air conditioning, and high ceilings. There’s a nice view of the lighthouse from the outdoor terrace. Friendly service, a quiet setting, and only 5km from the ferries to Koh Chang.
