The monkeys can be a problem: they're mischievous and not friendly if you have food or drinks with you. Otherwise, it's a nice, quiet spot for a short, budget-conscious vacation.

There are lots of monkeys in the trees, so don't leave anything outside or in the back of the Ute. The beach is a mix of stones and sand, and there's rubbish along the street and shore. Breakfast was good, especially the coffee and congee. We found the staff friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean with a good bay view across the road. Our compact room had two seats and a comfortable bed. The air conditioning only ran at full fan, which made it noisy and breezy.

The room was clean and the bed was perfect. I thought the price was a bit higher than expected, but breakfast was included. It's a lovely, quiet place surrounded by nature, and we're glad we stayed. We'd be happy to return!

At night, there are thousands of mosquitoes if you sit outside your room to eat or drink, so bring repellent. Also, I wouldn't recommend swimming here: restaurants along the beach let their kitchen water flow into the sea. The resort is in Yang bay, which is very quiet. It only serves breakfast, so lunch or dinner means buying food outside. There are two or three restaurants along the beach, and the kind staff can lend you plates and cutlery.
