Talat Kad Road (Walking Street) is close by, with its lively market on weekends. The hotel itself was spotless, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. A perfect stay in Lampang.

We paid around 500 THB a night in August 2025, and the place offered more than we expected for the price, including a huge private balcony facing the street. It’s in Lampang’s old town, with the local minibus station right outside and nearby sights within walking distance. The hotel felt quiet and safe at night, and the night shift staff member we met was helpful, knowledgeable, observant, and polite. The downside was street noise from loud motorbikes going past at full throttle at 2 am.

There’s no lift, and parking is roadside. The bed was very hard, the room didn’t feel very clean, and we felt itchy. We were only given two pillows.

It’s a reasonably cheap place even for someone travelling alone, and I had a good stay. When I arrived by bus early in the morning, the staff were very helpful. The rooms had plenty of space and were quiet and clean. Someone is always at reception and can keep an eye on your bags if you want to leave them there.

The fridge had a freezer compartment, which was handy for keeping ice I bought. The woman on day shift was really helpful and did her best to communicate with us using Google Translate. We did find ants along the bed edges, walls, and bedside tables on the first night, though the second night was fine.
