Easy Hotel

😡 I had a terrible experience and found the place very dirty and unprofessional. I booked two nights, checking in on 28 Nov and checking out on 30 Nov, because I needed to arrange my father’s funeral ceremony at Tonkaew temple nearby. We had also booked several rooms for our cousins from Bangkok. On the morning of 29 Nov, the hotel suddenly said I had booked only one night and had to leave by noon. I told them that couldn’t be right and that the front office must have made a mistake. I asked them to find me another room for that night, then rushed to the temple for the Buddhist morning ceremony. The man told me to call at 11am to see whether they could find a vacant room. I called on time and was told to move from room 404 to 305 at 12pm. I got back before 11.30am, but the receptionist said they had already moved my things to room 305. I was furious because I hadn’t packed, and nobody had asked my permission. I had valuables and a laptop in the room. Who would be responsible if anything went missing? I was also very uncomfortable with strangers handling my sleeping gown, lingerie, and other clothes. In the new room, housekeeping had put my belongings in a paper bag. They placed my sport shoes right on top of my toothbrush, along with my already-used in-room sandals, a contact lens case, and other things I’d left in the bathroom. My book and sweater were underneath the sandals. The way they handled my belongings made it seem like the housekeeping staff had no sense of cleanliness. I’d worn those shoes for days, so were they expecting me to use the toothbrush under them again? My contact lenses had dried out because the case was upside down and the lubricant leaked. This showed me they didn’t care when moving my things. Guests should be allowed to pack their own belongings. I showed the photos to the receptionists. I won’t return to this terrible hotel. I hope the owner reads this and trains the staff better! 🤬
