The on-site restaurant was a big plus, with affordable prices too. One main dish, a soup, and three beers came to ฿515. There’s plenty of parking for cars or bikes, and I’d definitely return if I’m in the area. The hotel staff were excellent, and most of them speak English. My room was basic and could have used more light, though perhaps it was just the room I had. The bed was hard, like in most local hotels, but that’s supposed to be good for your back, so enjoy it! The shower was a little weak, but the water was hot enough for a late-night or early-morning wash.

In Nong Hin town in Loei, this guesthouse is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful, and a simple breakfast is included, with other meals available on request. It’s handy for trips to the area’s national parks. Twin rooms cost 600 baht a night and doubles 650. Each room has a private bathroom with a water heater, plus a fridge, air conditioning, and comfortable beds.

The staff are friendly and speak English, and there’s free WiFi. Breakfast is free too, with porridge, bread, and coffee. It’s a cozy spot with a simple restaurant, where both the fried rice and porridge are good. Highly recommended.

The prices are reasonable, and Panida Goodwill is the best place to stay in Nonghin. The rooms are very clean, and the other guests and the owner, Wundee, are nice and friendly. A motorbiker, scuba diver, and fisherman, Wundee is always up for a chat or ready to lend a hand. I can only recommend this resort. You won't be disappointed.
