The gated parking right in front of each room was the biggest plus for me as a motorcyclist. It meant the bikes could be locked up securely just outside. The host was very friendly, and the location works well for motorcyclists too. My room was very clean, with two single beds, a nice bathroom with soap and shampoo, a TV, kettle and coffee, plus two bottles of water. The WiFi was fast and the AC worked great.

I had a very positive stay. The hotel is clean and minimalist, with good amenities, including an excellent bed, air-conditioning, and coffee-making facilities. The only downside was low shower pressure, which could be improved by removing calcium from the shower head.

We used Kudao Rent Room as a base for a day ride to Doi Inthanon, and also caught a local fair and parade. It's in a pleasant, quiet corner of Mae Chaem, just a short walk from the main road. The gated off-road parking was especially convenient. Inside, the room was spacious, modern, clean, and well equipped with comfortable beds, a table and chairs, fridge, A/C, and kettle. I saw a review saying the shower was too cold, but turning down the flow solved that for us and we had some nice hot showers.

A large, simple room in a central spot in town, with private parking right outside. It was a great place to stop over before carrying on over Doi Inthanon to Chiang Mai.

I appreciated having a kettle and coffee ready for the morning. The beds weren't rock hard, and there was air conditioning and parking just outside the room. You could do a lot worse, and if you've been in Thailand for any length of time, you probably have.
