The owner was kind and understood right away when I explained I’d booked online for the wrong arrival date. Even though I came a day late, she still provided me with a room. It was a peaceful stay, and the room and bathroom were clean. The hotel has a vintage feel, and the lake is an easy walk away. I enjoyed my time here.

I needed a place at the last minute for a night in Mae Hong Son after my Vipassana, and Panorama Hotel worked out well. The owner was sweet and accommodating, quick to offer help and happy to assist if I needed anything. She even lent me a book to look up places to visit in Mae Hong Son. I’d happily stay here again if I return. Highly recommended!

The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, and it was quiet even on a lower floor. Right in the town center, it worked perfectly as a stop on the loop. It wasn’t nearly as bad as some other reviews make it sound.

Ms.D was so kind and helpful during our stay, and gave us useful recommendations. The hotel is right off the main road in the heart of Mae Hong Son, within walking distance of the walking street market, airport, lake, and several main temples. It’s a vintage place that shows its age and could use a modern refresh. Some furniture is heavy and not comfortable for lounging, so we found it better as a place to sleep before the next day than somewhere to hang out. Your mileage may vary. Our room had a comfortable king bed, AC, a fan, and a screened terrace. The bathroom was fine for showering, with hot water, and we appreciated the daily cleaning. Food options in the town center are limited late at night since most restaurants close at 2100. Thanks to Ms.D for a great stay!
