The road up is narrow and pretty steep, so it’s not a good route for a beginner driver. We had the place to ourselves since it wasn’t a weekend, though I can imagine it getting noisy when more people are staying, as the house is wooden. It’s a home stay, so don’t expect a five star hotel. The surroundings are peaceful and natural, and there’s a creek below the balcony. Falling asleep under the moon to the sound of flowing water was lovely.

A beautiful view and a lovely spot for couples planning a date or honeymoon in northern Thailand. I recommend visiting during Thailand’s winter season.

The mountain, trees, and stream make for fresh air, cool weather, and a really nice setting. The price seemed reasonable for the area, the view around the place is lovely, and breakfast was okay. Our small wooden home stay room was also okay, and the toilet was fine, but the bed and the space underneath it weren’t clean enough. I could hear people in the next room talking and walking around, which is an issue in a wooden house. The bed was so hard that I had trouble sleeping, so this wasn’t a good choice for me personally.
