We booked at the last minute, and the staff were kind and helpful. They even went out of their way to do us a favor. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had a great overnight stay.

There’s plenty of parking and a huge swimming pool, plus a coffee shop and halal food nearby. The hotel was clean and comfortable for the price. The downside is if you end up on the third floor.

There are a few bars, cafes, and restaurants nearby, and it’s a short walk to the main street. The Thai Myanmar Friendship Bridge is about 3 km away. The hotel sits on higher ground, where flooding has happened during the rainy season. My mattress was so old I could feel the springs, and I woke up with back pain every morning. The public areas were very dirty, with rubbish, linen, and towels all kept together.

I can accept that they don’t clean during a two-day stay if that’s their policy. But refusing to give me fresh towels after I’d used mine for one day is unacceptable by any hotel standard.

The rooms were quiet and adequate, and the air conditioning worked. Maintenance and repairs clearly don’t seem to be a priority, as you can see in my photos. Still, if you’re in the area, it might be worth staying here.
