Fortune D Hotel Maesot

My friend and I wanted to share a room, so we took a double room and paid 500bht more for the other one. At night I asked the counter for an extra pillow, but they said they couldn't provide one and told us we'd have to open another room. We had to complain hard just to get a pillow. The service was very, very poor, and I won't come back. Zero rating ❌❌👎

This was my fourth stay over four years, and I'm done. The walk-in price is 1,000 baht, up from 700 to 800 to 1,000 baht, while the place has just got dirtier and worse. The room and bathroom were dirty, the elevator filthy, and there were no coat hangers or toaster for the bread. Breakfast had the usual cold sausages and ham, half-cooked eggs, and dirty dining tables. Never again.

I was traveling to Bangkok and had to wait for a car change, so this hotel came up. I could only stay a couple of hours, but it seemed quite new, with quality accommodation and an ideal location. One of the best things in town, Tak Mae Sot.

There's a Seven-Eleven right next door, and a huge international shipping center across the road. The location is great and the price reasonable. I enjoyed my stay and felt satisfied, especially with the very comfortable bed and cozy pillows.
