The room decor was nice, and the surroundings were quiet. Still, this was one of the worst hotel stays we've had, and we were very angry. We booked two rooms for three nights, but the rooms weren't cleaned once. The rubbish attracted insects and kept us from sleeping well. I saw other rooms being serviced, so I wondered if ours had been skipped on purpose. One mattress was broken and squeaked so much that we couldn't sleep. When we raised it, the woman I think was the manager told us to leave and find another room somewhere else. She was very rude. The toilet and shower were dirty when we first arrived, and one room's dryer didn't work. The shower soap in the other room was empty and wasn't refilled until we asked. We had to ask for towels and soap too. They brought those, but still didn't clean the room or do anything else. Even after we complained, there was no apology or effort to make things better during our stay. We spoke Thai, so it wasn't a language issue. Agoda said they could speak English, but they couldn't. Check the photos for proof.

The area was okay, and the room had new flooring, decent blinds, a small fridge, a microwave, and a place to sit outside. There was plenty of luggage space, but nowhere to put clothes except a high, narrow shelf for hanging a few shirts. The blinds also left a gap when closed. The bed was okay. Getting a working room was a struggle. In the first, the AC sounded like a jet plane. The second had broken AC vents that couldn't direct the air away from the bed, which could make me sick by morning. The third had a new AC, but the TV didn't work. They said they'd fixed it the next day, but the receiver remote still didn't work. The first day's shower flooded, and the water took at least 30 minutes to drain while you had to shower in it. They said it was fixed, but it wasn't. Even the soap was so dry inside the dispenser that it was hard to get out. Basic management here is lacking. I wouldn't recommend the place to friends or relatives. The good thing is we're leaving tomorrow morning.

We had a king bed, so didn't need the extra bed they provide, though it sits inside the room. Families can fit together in one room, and if you bring your own bedsheets, they'll let you use them without an extra charge. Just fold them neatly before checkout. The rooms are spacious enough, and it's quiet and feels safe at night. The room may not suit you if, like me, you're not keen on glass houses. At least two sides are glass with drapes. We went on a weekday outside a holiday, but the resort was already half full and fully booked around Friday. The mountain view right in front is lovely, and the place is very quiet. There's also a small but inviting pool that's good for kids. Breakfast is limited to coffee, congee, and an American breakfast, but enough to fill you up in the morning. It's a nice spot for a night or two. Tourist spots are about a 10-15 minute drive away, which is much like most resorts in Khao yai. The resort has so much open space that I gave the location five stars. I'd recommend calling the resort directly to book instead of using an app. I booked by phone a day before check-in and could pay when we arrived. The front desk is really easy to talk to.

The worst part was the broken, worn-out mattresses. Their springs were shot, and we couldn't sleep properly. We booked two rooms for three nights at Lucerne Villa Resort, and the stay was extremely disappointing. When we told the manager the next morning, she said to cancel because they couldn't replace the mattress or give us another room since they were fully booked. She didn't apologize. The following night, housekeeping hadn't cleaned our rooms, changed the towels, or taken out the garbage. A very unpleasant stay. We don't recommend this resort.

The location works well if you want quiet surroundings, but there were insects and bugs in our room. The water heater didn't work properly, and we waited around 15 minutes for reception staff to help us check in. For a 3 star hotel, you can't expect much.
