Hop Inn Nakhon Ratchasima (SHA Extra Plus)

The only letdown was not having a kettle in the room. Apart from that, it was wonderful.

Just off the main road/highway and right behind terminal 21 shopping centre. Good price 👍

Wherever I travel in Thailand 🇹🇭, Hop Inns are a great option. The rooms are clean and affordable, the staff are friendly, and the security guards keep a close eye on your vehicle. Awesome Thailand 🇹🇭

The updated design has some welcome improvements: the shower head and water pressure are decent, and you can reach the bedside light switch from bed in these newer properties. I did lower my rating because the air conditioning smelled quite bad when I first turned it on, and it wasn’t clean. The clothes hangers are still fixed to the rail, so you have to stretch your clothes to get them over the hangers. It also means you can’t hang things on the utility balcony to dry or air out in the warm fresh air. At the new property in Maha Sarakham, the air conditioning was clean, but the wall lights had been replaced with ceiling downlighters that were too bright. I’d prefer the wall lights to stay. In Pitsanulok, I was put in room 404 beside the lift and could hear its machinery and the car moving through the wall. They found me another room when I came back later that evening, thankfully. I was annoyed, though, that they were still calling guests after 6.00pm, the official automatic cancellation time, to ask if they planned to check in, because at first they couldn’t find me another room.
