We stopped in for coffee rather than staying. There was a nice selection of hot and cold drinks, and both guys working there spoke English and were cheerful. They went out of their way to accommodate my soy requirements. A relaxed spot for a quiet coffee.

It used to be a very instagramable cafe, but it’s now a specialty cafe with plenty of drink choices and good-quality coffee beans. The staff are enthusiastic about making you the best cup they can. I’ve never been disappointed here.

I didn’t stay overnight, just came for coffee and some really great bread.

I was in room #201, where the socket at the desk has two holes, so I couldn’t plug in my notebook. Check-in around 8pm was also slow: I called the hotel, and reception said she’d bring the key soon, but I waited 15 minutes. The hotel lists a phone number for complaints, but nobody answered when I called.

The bed was very good and soft. The receptionist was a little cranky, and there are a few design issues in the room. For instance, the French blinds on the doors point the wrong way, so water that gets to the door ends up in the room.
