It felt more like a dormitory than a hotel. Outside each room there were only two chairs in the corridor, not a terrace or balcony. With workers constantly walking around, there wasn’t much privacy. I wouldn’t recommend it, and it didn’t feel worth the money.

A good value, no-frills stay in the NST Town area, which felt safe and well located. The rooms were clean and had air conditioning and a fridge. There’s a small breakfast area and a friendly receptionist. There were some mosquitoes around, so bring repellent.

Neat, tidy place with a clean bed and bathroom, and it was quiet. This is a no-frills stay with only a very small breakfast. It’s way out of the way, with nothing like a 7-11 nearby unless you’re up for a good walk, so you need transport. The airport is about 20 minutes by taxi if you can find one, since Grab taxi doesn’t work here.

I stayed three nights in February 2018 and paid USD 9.50pn, which was outstanding value. The room was spacious, bright, spotless, and had a full-size refrigerator. The bathroom was large and clean too. There was a good complimentary breakfast, plus free tea, coffee, ice, and water throughout the day. The garden surroundings were lovely, and it’s a good base for visiting the Nakhon Wat. Staff were polite and attentive to requests.

For the price, it’s good value. The room was spacious and clean, and I think it had been renovated fairly recently. The bed was comfortable, and the street was quiet.
