I’ve stayed here four times, and it’s been fantastic every time. The location is beautiful. At 700 baht, it’s well priced, and the spacious room was clean with a comfy bed. I’d stay again if I’m back in the area.

The staff were kind and helpful, and we’d definitely return. We had a great two-night stay, with delicious authentic Thai dishes delivered to the deck when we ordered room service. The property is large, with bungalow cabins along a steep, winding driveway, plus a big swing and deck at the bottom where you can watch the sunset. We picked the cheaper, less updated bungalow, which had a fan and worked great for us. They warned us that the tamarind tree and the season could bring ants. There were quite a few small ones on the bathroom floor and a few in the main area, but they weren’t much trouble, and staff offered to clean them up if we asked. The other downside was the village speakers starting around 6 or 6:30 each morning. Music had the dogs howling, then there were announcements and more music for about half an hour. I read that this is common in villages in the Isan region. It was interesting, but there was no falling back asleep after it started, so that and the ants kept this from being a five-star stay. For a more modern room with no ants, I think the slightly pricier, updated cabins could be quite excellent.

We stayed in the Villa Classic, a lovely little piece of paradise. Food and drinks could be ordered through their service, which worked well. The room was clean and in good condition, and staff met us when we arrived. Internet was limited, though that was okay. Parking could be very difficult for a large motorcycle since there aren’t any flat areas.

The view was perfect, and the houses sat a pleasant distance apart. We rented one with a large terrace, a spacious bedroom, separate toilet and shower, and a corridor kitchen. It was clean throughout, and the houses were comfortable and well equipped. The price isn’t the lowest, but you get a very high standard of accommodation for the night. The staff were friendly and helpful.
