A good-sized restaurant is inside the resort compound, and the place itself is quiet, private, and nicely secluded. The city center is a very easy 5-minute drive away, and the resort is easy to find. Staff were helpful and courteous, and check-in was quick. Although check-in is listed as starting at 3:00 PM, we arrived at 1:15 PM and were checked in straight away. We rented a 1-bedroom wooden house for $59 USD/~1,800 THB. Inside, it was appealing, with a comfortable king-size bed, large TV, AC, and refrigerator. Free bicycles caught my eye: they were clean, well-maintained, in great shape, and relatively new. There were mountain bikes and lower-profile bikes for sitting upright. It's an impressive place and good value for the room rate.

Breakfast doesn't have much choice. The room was comfortable, but the toilet smelled quite bad. The hotel is a little far from the center, and mobile signal was very poor there. The hotel's wifi wasn't strong enough either.

Breakfast was ok, though cereal would have been nice. There were cups and saucers and a kettle in the room, but no tea or coffee, which seemed very strange. Otherwise, good.

The food was delicious, the accommodations were comfortable, and the reception staff were excellent. The owner of Doi Thin Nan Resort is lovely and friendly. I recommend this accommodation.
