Akelada Hotel

There was plenty to choose from at breakfast, but the food still wasn't up to standard and was horrible. The room itself was spacious, though quite dirty, and the maid didn't clean it every day. Everything else fell a little below standard.

The pool was being cleaned, and I wish that had been mentioned online when booking. My room was as nice and spacious as any I've stayed in, including some four-star places in BKK. The rest of the hotel didn't quite match the room, but given the price, I wasn't surprised or disappointed.

We only stayed for two nights, and although the staff were very attentive, the place felt badly neglected. The bathroom was dirty, especially the shower, which looked unwashed, and I found hair in it. On the second night my husband found a large cockroach in the sheets. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The mattress, or maybe the box spring, was painfully hard for my bad back, so I didn't sleep comfortably. Still, I enjoyed the stay. The staff were pleasant and really helpful, and the hotel is good for the price and close to the many attractions burriram has to offer. It's a great location for chang international circuit, though you'll need transportation if you stay in this area.
