Ever Green Guest House

The staff were lovely, friendly, and always smiling, and housekeeping came daily. The bathroom and toilet were clean, with hot water and a good shower head pressure. The location puts you right in the center, and the big double bed was fine for me as a solo traveler. There's just one little shelf in the corner, so space would be tight for a couple. The guesthouses are woven shacks with bamboo walls, and sound carries everywhere. I could hear people next door using the toilet, other body noises, music from bars, passersby talking, traffic, and couples getting lovey-dovey. It's annoying and disturbing, and light sleepers may struggle to get any peace. Bring earplugs. Otherwise, I have no complaints and would recommend the place.

The walls are a little thin, but I still find this a great place to extend a stay and relax. Evergreen has a good vibe, lovely easygoing staff, and a price that feels worth it. It's central while still being peaceful, and now that I've found it, I'll always come back when I'm in pai.

What a terrible stay. The room was damp, music went on all night, and I couldn't sleep without earplugs. Even with them, I doubt I'd have slept. Huge cockroaches ran around the bathroom, a gecko in the room screamed for half the night, and mosquitoes bit me too.

There's a nice outdoor seating area and free coffee in the morning, and my room was quiet. The room itself was small, though, with an uncomfortable bed. I also found a cockroach in it once. The location is great.
