The route in was rough: our GPS sent us through a busy market street, where we crawled along at 1 km/h dodging people, carts, and cars. Find another way in. The resort itself was beautiful, and our room felt like a dream getaway. The bed was perfectly comfortable, with an open window and door looking out to a peaceful river. Across the water, we could see young people doing yoga in tiny homes among the trees. It was incredibly calm, and I wished I could have stayed longer to soak it all in. My son wanted to explore town, but I’d definitely come back and take things more slowly next time. We didn’t try breakfast, though it looked good.

We were eight people and had a great spot right beside the river to watch the fireworks and lanterns for New Year in Pai. While other people were drinking vodka Red Bull and smoking, we had a ringside view. Such a fun way to see in the year.

The view makes this a lovely place for a meal or drinks. I ordered the tom yum kung, and it was the best spicy prawn soup I've had in northern Thailand. Definitely recommend it.

We made this our regular spot during ten days in Pai and went every day. It isn't the cheapest, but we loved being right by the river, the views are so good, and the staff are really efficient.
