The location made it easy to explore Pai and the surrounding area, and we had a good stay at Sabayaa Pai. Our bed was comfortable, so the nights were restful. The bathroom felt a little dated and could use maintenance. The curtains could do with an upgrade too, since they didn't block all the light or give the level of comfort you'd expect. Apart from those things, we enjoyed our time there.

The room was quite dingy, and opening the curtains meant losing your privacy. There were LOTS of ants inside. The balcony was nice to sit on, and there was a communal fridge, but you can't bring alcohol into the hotel. The location was great, set back from the road enough to be nice and quiet.

The bed was comfortable, the shower had strong water pressure, and the Wi-Fi held up perfectly through several Zoom calls. The furnishings are a little dated, but that didn’t matter much for the price. It’s right on Pai’s famous walking street, close to everything, and still surprisingly quiet. The no-alcohol rule may not work for everyone, though I liked the calm atmosphere it creates. For an affordable, central place to rest after exploring, I’d recommend it. Hard to beat for the value and peace.

Really convenient spot in the middle of Pai town. The place was consistently clean, the service was great, and the price felt right. Highly recommend it.
