The garden is lovely, and the little bungalow has charm, especially if you don’t mind sharing it with chirping geckos. For the price, the guesthouse is decent, but the management really hurt the experience. I felt the owner was more interested in getting extra money from foreign guests than offering good service. I’d signed a contract specifying the electricity charges and paid them, but was then unexpectedly asked to pay for cleaning, which hadn’t been mentioned. The owner also kept involving her sister instead of handling things herself. And although WiFi was free, she wanted to charge me for using the internet through an Ethernet cable.
