The Quarter Hotel

The resort itself is great, but they seem to let White foreigners smoke weed on the property and cigarettes near the pool as they please. There are signs all over saying any kind of smoking brings a 5k baht fee. I reported it, but nothing was done, so I left the pool because I can't handle secondhand smoke. That's why I gave a low score, they aren't maintaining the service level they advertise.

After a week here, something in us has softened. The Quarter feels like a space that is truly cared for, a gift within the greater gift of Pai. You can see it in the garden, where every pathway, tree, flower, and corner seems thoughtfully tended. The gardeners look after the grounds with devotion, and the trees feel respected. The team works together with warmth, humility, and genuine care. Housekeeping is precise and completely squared away, but quiet about it. We feel welcomed, safe, and comfortable as a family of five with children aged 7, 5, and 2. Birdsong wakes the trees each morning and carries gently across the property through the day. Flowers fall along the paths like little surprises. There's a big open grassy area where you can take off your shoes, ground yourself, and breathe with the earth. Mae Thorani (Mother Earth) is honoured here. The pool sits at the heart of the place, with light reflecting on the water, children laughing, and families resting. Food is prepared with care too. We've watched fresh ingredients being chopped and rolled by hand, without shortcuts or rushing. May all beings have peace in their hearts, joy in their being, and love in, through, and around us all. Only stayed one night, but the room was great, the pool lovely, and breakfast good. The staff were excellent. Big thanks to Mai at reception, who helped arrange for a local bike shop to come fix a puncture on my motorcycle. Really appreciate all the help.

The property and rooms were clean, tidy, and well maintained, and the town centre was easy to reach on foot. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, so we felt welcome right from the start. We had a great stay at The Quarter Pai and would definitely recommend the hotel.
