B2 Khao Yai Premier Hotel

We had a roomy family suite, and there’s parking. The receptionist could speak English, which was helpful. They took a THB 500 room deposit and returned it when we checked out. Recommended.

I liked the price and really hoped to enjoy staying here, but the noise made the experience frustrating. Sound carries easily between rooms, so late arrivals can be disruptive. Worse, whenever the next-door guest opened a valve, their water pump was loud enough to wake me. Even the cheap bathroom fan rattles and adds to the noise. For my two-night booking, they didn’t clean the room or replenish anything apart from water, despite the “Make Up Room” tags in the room. It seems odd that booking two one-night stays at the same price would mean a clean room and fresh towels, while staying two nights gets less service. I also found the location farther from the main spots than some reviews suggest.

The building is new and the room was nice, but communication and service need work. The receptionist held onto my passport without explaining why. I asked if I could pay the key deposit by bank transfer or cash, and she didn’t answer, just kept looking through my passport. She seemed to assume I couldn’t pay the deposit in cash. Since passports sometimes need to be shown at places in Thailand, I was concerned. Thankfully, a local Thai family helped translate. I’d stay here again, but this needs to improve.

The room was really big and comfortable, and the service was good. Low price for the quality.
