Khaoyai Biciclette Cafe And Hotel

We had a great time, especially at the small Renaissance gallery. The owner hosted us for tea, showed us a little art exhibition, and talked us through the works. He was warm and welcoming, and clearly loves the hotel. Our room was clean, and the service was great.

The room and bathroom were both clean and spacious, and we really enjoyed the calm, peaceful stay. Getting our suitcases from the parking area to the lobby was awkward because the path is a stone garden walkway. There’s no elevator or luggage help either. A smoother route for bags would be useful.

We came because the hotel was close to Khao Yai Art Forest, but there was no shuttle, transport, or other service connecting the two. We were also surprised to find no dinner service at a countryside hotel this remote. The closest restaurant was a 20-minute walk away, and there was no Grab available. We were visiting from overseas and hadn't driven, and the staff didn't try to find us a solution. We had booked through Trip.com and specifically requested two twin rooms, but none were available when we arrived. We were very disappointed.

The garden has a lovely Italian feel, like a little trip to Tuscany without leaving Thailand. The owners were kind and sweet. Our room was large, with a comfortable mattress that was firm but still soft enough. Breakfast was very good. It's a wonderful find, and we'll be back soon.
