Khaoyai Sakthong Resort by Oyo Rooms

For 590 baht, I got a room with one bed for two people on April 14, 2025. It had a water heater, fridge, and wardrobe. They had coffee, Ovaltine, and bread in the morning. The atmosphere in the morning near Khao Yai was really nice, and the auntie was very kind. I’ll definitely return. When I went, the prices were 590, 790, and 1,000 baht.

The caretaker was friendly, and it’s close to Khao Yai National Park. Outside, the place felt peaceful with lots of trees, though some things were damaged and needed renovation. I stayed over the August holiday and paid 690 baht for a room without breakfast, though they did provide coffee and snacks. The wooden house was old but clean. Walking around was a little noisy because of the wooden floors, which seemed normal. It had air conditioning, a water heater, TV, refrigerator, two bottles of water, and towels.

It felt really creepy, hahaha. The house is old, the toilet is broken, and the bed makes a lot of noise. A dog howls from time to time. The atmosphere isn’t great, and there’s a temple nearby.

The owner is very friendly, and the rooms are clean and good value. The place is a little old, but it’s clean and well looked after. It’s near the national park, with mountains all around and a great atmosphere. You can negotiate the accommodation price.
