Kong Garden Resort

The best part of our stay was how helpful and accommodating the owner and manager were. We told them about our dietary needs, and since we had no transport, they arranged for someone to take us by motorbike to a nearby restaurant. The manager even came over while we were ordering to make sure the restaurant understood what we needed. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and fantastic, and the owner drove us to Muak Lek train station. The garden style modern bungalows were lovely too, and the whole visit exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

We liked the quiet, cozy setting and the friendly, efficient staff. The manager even packed sandwiches for us when we left at 6 am. Breakfast was good, with Western food and Thai porridge. Our room was spacious, clean, and bright, though our block was a little farther from the main gate. The polished floor was slippery, so slippers were needed, but you have to bring your own. There were no hangers in the cupboard. The water stopped completely late on our first night, then was back to normal on the following days. Even the dogs came to welcome us when we arrived.

A quiet, clean and very nice place. For two people, the Intanin room is a good choice at 1400bth/night. There are lots of restaurants near the resort and they’re easy to find with Google Maps.

A nice place to relax. The rooms are decorated well and the breakfast was very good. It would be helpful if the restaurant also offered dinner.
