The only real plus is being near the train station. The hotel is old, and the sheets had dirt and even blood on them. The hallway light was off, the counter was often empty, and the service was very poor. It was hard to find, and the Google Maps location was inaccurate. The whole place felt deserted, with only one room occupied during my stay. One odd note: if you like the company of “brothers” or have an adventurous streak, you could give it a try. Otherwise, stay away.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly, but there were some letdowns. Booking.com listed a balcony, and there wasn't one. Breakfast was instant coffee with small crackers, and they charged a 100 baht key deposit. It's close to the train station.

The location is great, right by the train station and around the corner from the night market. We may have been lucky with our room, since we'd read the reviews and checked for bedbugs, but it was very clean. It's an older, plain hotel, though the room was properly cleaned and had free WiFi and its own bathroom. For the price and location, it's a good deal. There was no hot water.

It's in a handy spot near the train station, main road, and food market, and there's free parking. Cleanliness was middling, and there wasn't much else to recommend it. We chose it for the lower rates, but 450-500-600 baht a night felt too expensive for what you get. The place is old, and so is everything in it. The mattress sagged, the TV had just one channel, and the air-con remote had to be shared. The lady on staff was friendly, but the place needs to improve if it wants people to come back.

The location by the train station was good, but both toilets we tried were broken. The unfriendly staff explained how to use one and let us use the toilet in another room, which also didn't work. The rooms smelled horrible.
