The breakfast tasted good, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. Outside, the cottage and surroundings are superb, with an English countryside feel. Indoors it felt more like visiting a Thai friend's country home, giving it a homey character, though the place was average overall. The entrance is cute, but an SUV has to be parked outside. Lizard-phobic guests should be prepared, they seemed to be everywhere 😅. The room had no facial tissues, toiletries, hair dryer, shower cap, or bathroom mat. The faucet and shower nozzle need renovation or a deep clean.

It felt like staying at a relative's home somewhere in France, really homey. The host was so friendly and kind, and fun to chat with. There are plants and organic goods for sale, mostly rosemary products. Definitely worth the price.

This place feels old and worn out, and needs refurbishment. It may have been nice once, but during our three-night stay our bed linen and towels weren't changed, and the room wasn't cleaned. We got the usual two bottles of water at check-in and no more.

The venue was pretty and had a nice, home-like feel. It was very dark when we arrived after sunset, though, so it was hard to see the place.
