U Khao Yai

What stayed with me most was the garden, so thoughtfully arranged and maintained, full of different blooms and even a small decorative fountain. Walking there after dinner, or even under the hot midday sun, felt restorative. The room was big, clean and well appointed, with a comfortable bed and lovely pillows that made for good sleep. U Khao Yai is tucked away among a smaller cluster of resorts, away from the main belt. I had some doubts when booking, but they disappeared as soon as we arrived and saw how beautiful it was. Miss Fai checked us in efficiently, and Miss Game from Papillon Rest and the other staff were wonderful. We were so content we could have stayed longer if we hadn't needed to travel to Hua Hin. There's a range of amenities. You'll need to drive, as with other Khao Yai resorts. A short drive away are Banchanngnam Massage and the fantastic Thai Rest next door, along with various flower markets and strawberry farms. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Thank you, U Khao Yai.

U Khao Yai was a fantastic experience, and we'd definitely return. The gardens are gorgeous and give the hotel a really relaxing feel. Our room was clean, comfortable and well kept, and the restaurant had great food and a lovely atmosphere. Every staff member we met was friendly and professional, with excellent service throughout. The only little drawback is being a bit far from some of Khao Yai's well-known restaurants and attractions.

The breakfast area gets crowded around 8-9 AM, and if you show up late there may not be a seat. The breakfast selection could use some improvement. We were on a family holiday in Khao Yai, and the warm hospitality was my first impression. Everyone greeted us with a smile and the staff delivered five-star service. Our spotless room had charming vintage decor. At first we were on the second floor, in a corner with little mountain view. When I asked the receptionist the next day about switching for better scenery, the staff kindly arranged a third-floor room with a beautiful view of Khao Yai Mountain. After check-in they showed us the hotel app, which lets you order room service, book transport and schedule spa services, though we didn't get to try those features. On our second day, a violinist performed in the backyard near the pool, and we enjoyed the music from our room terrace.

The restaurant food was sooo delicious, and the views and calm, relaxing atmosphere were lovely. Our room was roomy and comfortable, the amenities complete, and the facilities great. Most of all, the staff were incredibly friendly, thoughtful and attentive. They noticed our table didn't have straws and brought some without us asking. While we took photos around the hotel, they switched on lights to brighten the shots, then kept adjusting them as we moved between spots and waited to make sure everything looked right. I'd been hoping to visit ever since seeing the hotel in a celebrity's post. I finally made it, and wow, U Khaoyai Hotel really was amazing. Such a wonderful stay, highly recommended.
