It’s a long way from the city, but if you’re after a relaxing, village-like vacation, you’ll probably love it. The room was still acceptable, though cleanliness needs work. It smelled musty, with what looked like fungus, as if it hadn’t been tidied in a long time.

It’s very quiet and breezy here, but feels like the middle of nowhere. The nearest 7 E is about 30 minutes away, so the restaurant is the only place to eat. The room is a little small, though the price is reasonable at about 800bht for an individual semi-d King studio.

We stumbled across this romantic resort by chance. It sits in the middle of a mysterious forest, and has the feel of Tibet, with a gompa and Buddha statues. Go and explore.
