For the price, this is a decent place to stay, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean and the air conditioners worked really well. The bungalows are a bit run down and could use upgrades. I know hard mattresses are common in Thailand, but these felt like sleeping on a towel over a tile floor. The blankets were some of the smallest I’ve ever seen.
The owner was very friendly, and it’s a nice place with a beach view. You just cross the road to reach the beach. The basic bungalow was clean and had a balcony with a table and two chairs looking out toward the water. There’s also a small fridge. I paid THB400 for a fan.
The location is great and the price is very low, and the owners are nice. But the bungalows are old, poorly maintained, and not clean. The furnishings and sheets are far past their best. There were so many insects inside, especially mosquitoes, it seemed like there were more in the room than outdoors. Ants in the toilet made even sitting there unpleasant. The facilities need a lot of care.
The owners are very nice, the price is inexpensive, and the location is great. The rooms do need some TLC, so you have to be okay with roughing it a little, but for the cost, the stay is worth it.
