New Forest Patong

I’m only reviewing the restaurant, and its green curry was the best I had anywhere in Patong. My companions liked their meals too, so I feel pretty sure the food is high quality. They don’t serve alcohol, but I liked that they’re flexible and tell you to bring a bottle from the nearby seven eleven.

I had nowhere to stay, but New Forest Patong Hotel still took me in, even though it was really late at night. Nyi at the front desk was amazing and helped me so much, and the rest of the staff were great too. The rooms are very big and spacious, with good Wi-Fi and breakfast. The location in PATONG is ideal. A great choice with amazing prices.

The hotel was comfortable and clean, and the rooms were nice. I had a good stay overall, though the morning receptionist could be more welcoming. Sometimes he acts like he owns the hotel and often says “no” when you ask for something. That’s unpleasant for guests and doesn’t make for a good start to the day. A bit more kindness and better service would improve the experience a lot.

The roof seating area was a nice communal spot for chatting with other guests. I slept in the eight-person room, which was clean and well maintained. Reception staff were tremendously friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay again.
