Courtyard By Marriott North Pattaya

I spent about two weeks here on a work trip in Sep 2025. The location worked well, close to the beach and Terminal 21, and e-hailing pickups came quickly with very little waiting. Breakfast each day was decent. The daily laundry service was a real plus: I could leave the bag on the bed for housekeeping or drop it at reception, and it came back clean by the end of the day.

A quiet soi, but still near plenty of restaurants on the main road, so the location suited our quick Pataya stopover. We stayed just one night and the hotel covered most of what we needed. The room was modern, clean and comfortable, though small. The bed was great, and we slept really well. Basement parking felt secure, too. There was a bit of a damp, musty smell in the room. We didn’t use the pool or have breakfast, so can’t comment on those.

We had a great suite, in a clean, modern room, and got an upgrade through Marriott benefits. Check-in was quick, with extremely courteous staff. The first-floor breakfast was good again. A familiar brand and highly recommended.

The room was tiny, and the photos give a misleading impression. I was told I’d received an “upgrade,” though I had the exact room type I’d booked. Maybe the view was meant to be better? Lol, I’d hate to see the others. Here’s my amazing view. 😒 After several years as a Titanium Elite member, I was shocked to get no breakfast, lounge access, or even a welcome drink. I’d expect some perks after being loyal to Marriott. This hotel’s lack of benefits, even something small like a complimentary drink, has made me rethink where I spend my 90 days a year. It definitely won’t be Marriot anymore. There are plenty of better hotels nearby for substantially less money. I don’t recommend this one.
